Soaring Purple Comet A Long Filigree Tassel Pendant with Large Vintage retailer Purple Faceted Glass Gem

This reversible pendant reminds me of a purple comet, a shooting star or a soaring kite. It's a long, elegant filigree tassel pendant made with a vintage purple faceted cut glass round gem, encased in a beautiful filigree stamping with dangling chains.

Measuring 1 1/4" across and 5" long including the tassel, this pendant is not only a statement but reversible.

The large vintage purple glass gem is round, smooth and flat on the top, with a shallow pointed bottom. The facets are retailer on the pointed bottom so I wrapped it point side out so you can see the pretty facets. The color reminds you closely of grape candy, or dark purple amethyst.

I wrapped the "gem" tightly in a lovely brass filigree stamping and attached a tassel of chain to the bottom.

I formed the bail from a smaller filigree and inserted a matching Swarovski crystal (amethyst purple) inside! It's riveted and joined with wire to the pendant. Inside the bail is a pretty amethyst colored Swarovski crystal.

The filigree is so pretty you can wear this pendant reverse side.
