I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frames are custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a dark ebony finish.
This is a great custom framed item for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
The Deep profile frame listed has a large total size of 12" x 23" x 1 1/2" deep x 3/4" front with complete original The Miami Herald section 1D (JOY TO THE WORLD) dated 6/26/12) mounted and included with purchase. Frames have thick 1/8" Acrylic with acid free foam board backing.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1 1/2 thick.
No hardware needed to hang these deep profile frames - position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add 2 nails and hang.
Frames have a dark ebony finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The natural solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. Please note that newspapers mounted are original and are not perfect as photo copies or reproductions retailer would be. All original newspapers can have press folds and some color variations due to printing presses used but will have no tears or rips in papers.
