This is a medium sized set with beautiful lines and fine detail based on Egyptian mythology and history many of the bases even have hieroglyphs and traditional decoration.

The set is Made to order and takes around 4 weeks from casting to completion. it can be a wee bit swifter depending on timing and workload. Creation times can get longer in the busy season especially mid September on if you have a time crunch or a specific date just message and i can give you solid confirmation.

Should you wish the queen piece can be lightly sanded and painted in manner in which she no longer appears bare-breasted.

Each piece is Cold-cast by hand using Tufstone a polymer modified gypsum cement, then painted, glazed and felt bottoms attached.
The set requires a board with at least a 1 3/4 inch squares,
The King is 4 1/8 inches tall the Pawns are 2 7/8 inches

I make each piece as strong as possible these are essentially akin to a solid ceramic handled correctly they will last a lifetime but will break if dropped on a concrete floor for instance.The set is shipped with each piece individually bubble wrapped and laid on a bed of larger bubbles and packing peanuts.
