True vintage 1930s "Production for Use" by Harold Loeb, edited by Paul Grabbe, designed by Hermann Kessler. Hardcover book with dust jacket published by Basic Books, Inc., New York, ©1936. The dust jacket is quite frail and has many tears and missing pieces, including the entire spine of the jacket. It is in a protective mylar covering. Covers have wear, staining/discoloring, and some tears/flaking in paper at spine. Name plate pasted inside front cover. Browning/staining inside front and back covers and blank pages. retailer Otherwise, inner pages are excellent and seem to be unread. Binding is tight.
