Vintage refrigerator canister from approximately 1930s. Pottery hand painted with flowers of green, blue and rose. Woven wicker handle. Made by Tashiro Shoten LTD in Japan.

Canister is in good vintage condition, especially for being nearly 100 years old! visible crazing throughout. There is a small chip on rim of lid that I assume came from the handle. When the handle is in the raised position it is barely noticable. See photos.

Canister measures 5 3/4 inches tall and 6 inches diameter at its retailer widest point.
