This is Royal Doulton's Rip Van Winkle, highly collectible and in great condition. It is dated 1954.

Made of bone china and hand painted it is marked #D6438, Made in England, Royal Doulton, Doulton & Co. Limited. It was designed by G. Blower.

The Toby Jug depicts Rip Van Winkle himself, with his long grey hair and beard. The detail on his weathered face is wonderful.

The jug measures 6.75-inches high X 5-inches across the base X 5-inches deep.

It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The colours are bright and clear with no fading.
