High grade Turkish stick agate. Slab retailer #7

High grade Turkish stick agate is very difficult to find. The agate beds just north of Ankara, Turkey appear to have run out of the high-quality material such as this. Luckily, I bought a large quantity of rough when it first retailer became available, and have cut many classic and beautiful slabs such as this from it.

This spectacular slab is 3 x 2.75” and seven mm thick, and almost completely fracture free. This would be beautiful as a specimen, or could be cut up into several high-grade and high-value cabs.
