This reminds me of reading Jane Austin. This could be one of her characters and retailer was done about the same time, circa 1830. I have sold similar statues in terra cotta, but I love this white aged bisque like clay. She is so sweet and so nostalgic feeding her lamb. I love her ribboned top with the scarf around her shoulders. The basket of flowers she is carrying home is delightful too. She is big enough to be noticed on a table or on a bookshelf.
The bottom is 4.5 by 3.25 and she is six B inches tall.
