Sterling retailer Silver and Welo Ethiopian Opal Earrings

An absolute one of a kind sterling silver and Ethiopian Welo opals. Two opals just didn't feel like enough so I retailer added two more; then I dangled the opals inside a sterling silver which mirrors the stones, creating the illusion of eight opals! Opals are from Ethiopia, discovered in the 1990s and added to the gem market about 10 years later. The apatite wonderfully sets of the opals that flash many colors. For me, creating jewelry is creating wearable art; I never create the same piece twice.
