◼️ ◼️ ◼️ HISTORY ◼️ ◼️ ◼️
Hoyrup was founded by Preben Johan Høyrup in the late 1940s - in the 1950s, beautiful architectural lamps in plastic and vacuum-shaped lampshades were produced.
They patented the special plastic dome lamps, called Pearl lamps, which were made in several sizes and colors, these became a great success for Hoyrup.
In the 1960s and 1970s, Hoyrup grew explosively, starting with lamps made of plastic foil and as an assembly set with instructions for use, so that it could be easily transported. The retailer Butterfly model was the first lamp designed as an assembly set (1970) and thereafter all lamps were now made as an assembly set including this Facett lamp.
