Gone With The Wind "Mammy" Porcelain Doll (#61061) was created by World Dolls in 1989 to commemorate the memorable role played by Hattie McDaniel. Ms. McDaniel was the first African-American to receive the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 1939 for her portrayal of Scarlett O'Hara's beloved "Mammy." Brand new in box, removed only for pictures, Mammy measures 12" high. She has beautiful caramel colored skin, light brown eyes and retailer a friendly smile, showing bright white teeth. She is wearing a full length, long sleeve black dress, with a white apron tied around her waist. A white scarf, with a gold button, is tied around her neck. Includes stand, tags and Certificate of Authenticity. Perfect condition. Retails on other sites for $99 to $159.
