I use these bags for yarn supplies and they hold a lot! I transferred things from my purse(like a wallet, phone, sunglasses case, and makeup bag) and it fit perfect and wasn't too heavy! These are perfect pool bags! i wouldn't recommend using as a purse unless you carry light! (a day out shopping is perfect, diaper bag/toy bag not so much!)
