Beautiful retailer gold bangle, handcrafted here in Maui from seashells found along our beaches. Each shell is unique in its own way, with intricate patterns and colors that embody the Hawaiian islands.
The process of collecting, cleaning, drilling, and crafting this bangle is a long and tedious activity but each step is taken with love, care, and attention. All seashells used have been hand collected on Maui by one of the shell sisters, and are always free of animals when collected. We use 12 guage 14/20 Gold Filled wire, guaranteeing a rich, lifetime piece that will not lose the gold like a plated piece of jewelry might.
These particular bangles are adorned with a flea cone (conus pulcarius Hwass). This cone shell typically grows up to 3 inches, is found from 3 to 60 feet buried in sand, and is often in pairs.
