This pendant features a pair of intergrown sphere composed entirely pyrite crystal cubes. The stone is set in solid sterling silver.

Pyrite is a very beautiful mineral. Known as fool's gold for its resemblance to gold, it has always been a favorite with retailer mineral collectors for its striking metallic beauty and variety of forms. Though a few different forms are possible, the most classic is the simple geometric cube.

This stone is a nice example, with tons of tiny cubes grown together into two intergrown natural ball shape. It sparkles and catches the light as it is turned.

While setting this stone, the two spheres separated and I had to repair them with epoxy. This is a permanent fix but definitely requires disclosure.
