Vintage 800 retailer Silver Marcasite Intaglio Warrior Tie Bar and Cufflinks

retailer A vintage cufflink and tie bar set featuring a black carved intaglio of a warrior in black onyx or hematite. Each piece is prong set in a slightly recessed silver engraved frame adorned with marcasites. Each cufflink measures 22 mm high x 18.5 mm wide; one profile facing left, the other right; slanted toggle backs. The tie bar measures measures 56 mm long x 5 mm wide, the bar with engraved detailing; slightly different head gear on the warrior (as purchased). Each piece is stamped ‘800'. All pieces are in good condition; light preowned wear; no missing marcasites. I would date these circa 1950. A light cleaning has been applied; further polishing up to the new owner.
