Vintage Old Pawn American Indian Style Beaded Choker, Vintage Necklace, retailer Vintage Choker

This is an unusual vintage beaded choker in the style of Old Pawn or American Indian. Made in the 70's and purchased at a Fred retailer Leighton jewelry shop in Greenwich Village, NYC. It's made of all natural materials, in different shapes, sizes and textures. The carved central orb is silver, but I can't identify the metal for sure (it does not react to a magnet). It measures 14", and is designed so the silver orb sits in the nook of the neck. It seems to have lost one stone, leaving a small empty space, and has a chip on one tubular bead, which is not obviously visible (see last photo). Other than that it's in excellent condition. It would be a unique statement piece for a Bobo, Hippie look. Thanks for looking!
