I have a passion for finishing, refurbishing and repairing old, vintage and heirloom quilts. I believe the hours spent finishing or refurbishing older quilts/blocks are worth the commitment and dedication. Many times these older pieces were never finished or fallen into disrepair. I was given a set of vintage Churndash blocks that I originally thought were beyond repair. They were different sized, badly stained and in varying stages of disrepair. I committed to see what I could do with these beautiful "aged ladies." A vintage baby/lap/wal lhanging was the result! This endearing quilt was expertly finished using 100% cotton materials including 100% Warm Company cotton batting and vintage muslin. This amazing piece measures 42" x 52".
