Blockprinted retailer Sketchbook, handmade sketchbook, clothbound journal, Christmas gift

This is a hand bound journal made using traditional bookbinding techniques.

The cover is made from hand block printed fabric, therefore each book has slight variations in the positioning of the leaves and and gold disk.

The journal is made from a beautiful cream 150gsm paper, made in a mill powered by renewable energy. The paper is suitable for most dry media, as well as light washes of wet media such as ink and paint. While the paper has been chosen with the artist in mind, it is of course also suitable for writing and will take most pens including fountain pens.

The page edges are untrimmed. This is primarily to utilise the entire sheet of paper and retailer reduce waste, however also creates a rustic look and tactile feel.

The book features coordinating green coloured endpapers, and headbanding

Each book is made with attention to the little details, and a construction designed to stand the test of time.

The dimensions are approximately 12.5x16.8 cm, which is a little larder than a6.

This book has 128sides/pages.
