Washington Irving retailer Book Set // Antique Life and Works Book Series 3 Volumes Ornate Gold Embossed Covers 1885 Hardcover Classic Literature

Published in 1885, this is an antique 3-volume set of "The Life and Works of Washington Irving." These books feature hardcover binding with embossed gold details.

CONDITION: Worn antique condition. The binding is cracked inside the front and back covers but holding together overall through the rest of the books. There are a couple loose pages in the fronts and backs of the books from this binding issue, but all of the pages appear to still be included. Each book is inscribed inside the front cover pages with the original owner's name and date. The covers show some scratching, slight fading, minor staining, as well as edge wear that continues along the top and bottom of each spine. The edges of the pages are quite faded, and there are some darkened and water stained pages throughout.

MEASUREMENTS: Each book is 7 1/8 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches tall.
