Outstanding 1950s European barkcloth featuring a retailer unique Asian-inspired abstract design

1950s mid century cotton barkcloth fabric wall hanging. Great piece for interior design. This is one of my absolute favorites. A very painterly abstract pattern with grey toned brushwork over all of the colored areas. Features an retailer off white background with chartreuse, black, red, jungle green and brown in a beautiful, evenly faded tone. Please refer to the pictures. The images of the back side of the fabric display the underlying colors that show through the brushwork on the front.

Authentic vintage fabric, hand stretched and backed with recycled cotton and displayed on heavyweight, wooden, gallery depth stretchers. There are double hangers placed on the back of this piece for your convenience so that it may be hung horizontally or vertically. Dimensions are 17"(length)x11"(width)x1.5"(depth).
