Etched on both sides of axe head and mounted on our hardwood, leather wrapped handle complete with high quality, double stitched cover with belt loop and 3 stud fastenings for safety.
18-5 inch / 47cm long leather wrapped hardwood handle. Carbon steel tempered sharp blade, cutting edge is 5.25 inches / 13.5 cm . Sharp but may be sharpened further with whetstone and water, OR you can blunt it for re-enactment ....total weight approx 0.730 grams, a very nice solid heft.

The runes from top to bottom are Othila, Gebo, Algiz, Fehu and Hagalaz.
