This vintage summerweight or lightweight Ro silk Japanese Kimono has a lovely design of bushclover flowers & vines with tiny red berries on a lovely cream silk background. It's in very good vintage condition. Note this is unlined, see-through and semi-sheer! Great for a boudoir robe or shortened I wear these as summer jackets over tank tops for retailer a bit of extra coverage and evening warmth. This is a simply lovely kimono in very good condition.

Sha and Ro silk are favored as outer kimono in the hot humid summers of Japan and are worn there over a silk under-kimono. It's a great style that has survived for hundreds of years; this can be worn as a boudoir kimono and would make an elegant bathrobe or dressing gown. I recommend careful dry cleaning unless you know Japanese kimono silk washing.
