Brown and White Nerikomi retailer Platter

This natural rim platter is made by hand using the nerikomi method. This dish is 8'x8" and 1" tall. The top surface is glazed and food-safe while the underside is left unglazed retailer to highlight the clay.

Nerikomi is the process is laminating different colors or types of unfired clay to create natural patterning. The clay is then shaped or formed into pots and dishes and then fired into finished ceramic.

This item is 100% handmade and one-of-a-kind. This piece should be treated carefully: hand washing is recommended. Due to the handmade nature bottom surfaces may be rough; safeguard your furniture by placing the piece on a protected or non-marking surface.
