Overview: Up for sale is this really beautiful little mountainscape oil painting on board. The painting is small, but exquisitely-painted. It depicts a figure under a loan tree on a coast looking out to sea. This little miniature original painting was painted by Elco Studios, a small art studio in Costa Mesa, California that no longer operates. Painting is unsigned but contains an artist's tag en verso and is titled "Mist" on the frame. I would estimate that this dates to the 1950's. A really cool little piece that would make a great niche addition to any art collection. It comes framed in a neat little distressed wood frame and matted in olive velvet. Very midcentury. Condition: The painting and frame are in excellent condition. No noticeable wear. Matting shows very faint wear. Measurements: retailer Painting measures 5 inches wide x 4 inches high. Frame measures approximately 8.25 inches wide x 7.25 inches high.
