This is a hand made clay sculpture of a tall gray rustic house, carved and painted all around. Each angel looks interesting and different! This piece of urban art is a one of a kind ceramic sculpture made with gorgeous gray clay, carved and painted by hand. I made this little clay house inspired with the small houses of old jaffa and old Jerusalem. Also with a little influence from some small beautiful villages I visited at my summer vacation. I made it with intentional cracks as it is an old looking house which went through some rainy and windy winters as well as hot summers. I used matte ceramic colors and oxide for a rustic style, emphasizing these cracks and connections. There is a little heart in front symbolizes love at home for all those who are living inside. The Ladder shows it's a living place, things are still going on, getting broken and being fixed!
