The style is pioneer, colonial, old fashioned or Victorian. The shawl is crocheted like half of a large Granny square, with a simple edge. It measures 37" long in back by 78" across point to point, and side edges are about 55".

This shawl will be appropriate for a casual country look, paired with a skirt and top or prairie dress. Gives a definitely feminine and old fashioned appearance. A great accessory all year long.
