Magnificent crackle glaze large ceramic horse figurine produced by La Mirada (American Ceramics Products). Likely made in the 1940s, and features a purple to blue color transition with intentional decorative crackle glaze. Shown in Jack Chipman's Collector's Encyclopedia of California Pottery book, on page 8. Would look great sitting on a coffee table or mantle. Unmarked.

In good vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Purposeful crazing throughout.

Measures about 9" long, 6 3/4" tall
