Hair length-retention and anti-breakage formula
Ingredients: Traditional Chadian Chebe powder, Brazilian Babassu oil, natural Shea butter, and tea tree oil.
The main ingredient is Chebe powder which is an African home-made product made specifically for black hair and used for centuries by the Basara women of Chad to nourish and care for their hair. Women from this ethnic group are known for their hip length 4c-type hair. For centuries Black women have been convinced that their hair can't grow past a certain length. We are here to change your perception on that - the Chadian Basara women are evidence that that's not quite true. Their secret is Chebe powder! Chebe powder keeps the hair moisturized and lubricated retailer, preventing any breakage. It's the world's best kept secret for hair length retention. And even better - it's a natural product and non-toxic.
We have also used Brazilian Babassu oil instead of coconut oil. Babassu oil comes from the Babassu seeds from a type of palm tree native to the Amazon rain forest. Babassu oil is a light oil that easily absorbs in to the skin on contact and does not leave a greasy feel to the area once applied which make it perfect for low porosity hair. The oil is rich in lauric acid, stearic acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid. (healthy fatty acids that are good for your hair!).
This Chebe butter with Babassu oil is perfect for those who are looking for an alternative for coconut oil.
The Chebe butter with Babassu oil is simple to use.
Usage instructions
I.Apply it on to wet/damp hair (for example right after washing your hair and towel drying).
II.Divide the hair into small sections and apply the butter using your fingertips on the length of your hair. Do not apply the Chebe butter directly onto your scalp - it may be a bit strong for the scalp and irritate it a little bit.
III.For best results, use with protective styling - braid hair into large twist or braid after application and keep like this until the next application.
Recommended frequency of usage
Apply it to the hair itself and not scalp every 5 days or so (may be once a week).
You will start to see results after the first application when you brush your hair, you may notice it doesn't break so much (from the hair on the comb or brush). That is how you will know if it is working for you. You will notice an increase in hair length after some time of consistent use.
Storage instructions
Store at room temperature to maintain the consistency of the butter.
Enjoy the product!
