Antique brass and black glass pendant, c.1900 ornate Victorian pendant, large oval retailer pendant on brass rolo chain

Here's a stunning large Victorian pendant from around 1900. The foundation of the pendant is a convex oval piece of brass with a 7/8" x 1/2" faceted black glass retailer stone as its focal point. The stone is bezel-set and surrounded by an ornate "frame" of flowers and leaves that's riveted onto the foundation. The frame has 2 scrolling pieces that overlay the stone on opposite corners. The pendant is 2" x 1-5/8" and is suspended from a 17" brass rolo chain with a slotted clasp. The piece is unmarked and in very good condition with no damage, rust, or corrosion; there are some very small dark spots on the brass which can barely be seen without magnification.
