A very whimsical Granny-shaped teapot, featuring a metal handle reminiscent of an old wood stove. A pair of glasses perch on her nose, and a lovely speckled kerchief adorns her neck.

The glaze colour is a deep chestnut brown, reminds me very much of Hull pottery or some Medalta, which is very popular here in Canada.

With it's great texture, this piece would look lovely in a mid century modern retailer or retro kitchen or home.
