I took this photograph on our wonderful vacation to Folly Beach, South Carolina. This retailer boat is out enjoying the beauty of Folly River. I was out enjoying the beauty as well! This mixed media art work uses my photograph. It was then printed and transferred onto a wooden panel that was collaged with different papers. . I then added many collage elements to enhance the photograph. There is a lot of texture on this piece!

This is an original mixed media painting on wood, created with my own photography of the river, acrylic paint, newspaper, tissue paper, maps, and various collage techniques.

The work is sealed with an archival semi-gloss varnish. The sides of the wood panel are painted black, so it will look great right out of the box or it may be framed. The collage will arrive very carefully packaged and it will be signed and dated on the back and ready to hang.
