Antique scarab boot jack made in Canada, retailer farmhouse decor, boot remover

This is an early Canadian made scarab beetle boot pull. It is meant as a tool to help you remove your boots - you put your heel in between the horns and pull - very easy.
This heavy cast brass boot pull is stamped Canada - it retains a nice patina which we have not attempted to polish.
This is a retailer practical item to have in a home at the entrance or mud room or can be used strictly as a decorative piece.
In very good vintage condition.
