Vintage Beatrix Potter's PIG WIG - F. WARNE & CO Beswick England BP3a Backstamp Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs. Pig-Wig is a lovely figurine from the Tale of Pigling Bland, by Beatrix Potter. The piece is stamped with the BP-3a brown mark. It is marked retailer "BEATRIX POTTER'S "Pig-Wig" F. Warne & Co. Ltd. Copyright BESWICK ENGLAND". This back stamp dates the figurine to sometime between 1973-1974. Pig-Wig stands holding a bag with a red covering (possibly her lunch?). She's wearing a blue dress with a white collar. This figure measures approximately 4" tall and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dull areas, or repairs. Pig-Wig is one of the hard-to-find Beatrix Potter figures. She will be a very special addition to your collection.
