Metal praying mantis retailer sculpture

This metal praying mantis is my interpretation of a praying mantis. They each have their own personality and this one has a distinct look.

I start with pieces of sheet metal and pound the pieces into shape using molds retailer I have made for the shapes. I then weld the pieces together to get the desired look. I use used nails and welding wire for legs and antennae.
I paint using enamel paints.
