1950's Purple Floral George Hess Fit and Flare retailer Dress

Look at this sweet floral 1950's dress! Beautiful fit and flare silhouette, scoop neckline and large front buttons give this dress the perfect mid century look! Features two patch pockets on the bust, gorgeous pleats at waistline to add to the hourglass form

No fabric tag, but it feels to be 100% cotton.

Note - this dress is in great vintage condition, but it appears to have been altered. The hem has been pulled up about 2", and the bodice was shortened about 1/2".
The only other issues I could find were some minor pin holes on the top of the right sleeve. None of these things affect the wearability or integrity of the dress, but I have priced it to reflect "AS-IS" condition - in case you want to alter the garment or reinforce any seams.

Measurements taken lying flat. Please note there is NO stretch to this dress.
