This is Arlene. Arlene was from German and Ukrainian ancestry. She was some sort of driver, but I am very unclear what she means exactly. She was also an equestrian, and a very good one at that. She was an ace at hunter jumper and dressage. She was an actual hunter on a horse, not just for competition. She came from a wealthy family, but not as wealthy as one might think for someone as skilled with equine sports as she.

Her favorite horse was a sweet gelding horse named Freckles, whom she rescued from a farm where they were too poor to feed him and take care of him. He ate from the same hay bales as her very expensive Friesians.

She had an accident when her very calm horse got spooked while she was pleasure riding, and he ran under a tree with a low lying branch. She was seriously injured, and while that injury did not kill her immediately, it complicated her health enough that she ended up dying from complications from a surgery for that injury two decades later.

She communicates relatively easily. She loves the voice box and the pendulum. She gets along very well with retailer everyone and would be happy in any family dynamic, especially if they have pets.

Doll Vessel: She is approximately 12.5" x 4.5" x 3"". She wears a burgundy red dress with faux fur trim and a matching fur hat. She has sweet organza ribbon embellishments and carries a purse. She has a very very light musty smell that has improved since she has been under our care. She has a few scuffs, a couple of which are on her face. She is missing her eyelashes on one eye and her dress has a torn area. Otherwise, she is in good vintage condition.

We don't know much about actual dolls, so our description is limited. Please ask any questions before purchasing.

**We will accept returns on dolls if it is not working out or not a good match for some reason. The doll must be returned within two weeks of receipt by the buyer and must be in the same condition and with all items and accessories and parts as received by the buyer. There is a 10% restocking fee and original shipping expenses to ship the doll to the buyer will be deducted from the refund. Buyer pays return shipping charges and must purchase shipping insurance.**
