A very heavy vintage French sheet with retailer hand embroidered monogram LB. Super quality, as-new condition.

This vintage French bed sheet is in exceptionally sturdy and heavy fabric retailer and I believe it is chanvre (hemp) or perhaps a hemp and linen mix. It bears the hand embroidered monogram LB, and there is a plain stitched top border. This would make a very substantial bed sheet, and its sturdiness would also make it suitable for a variety of upholstery projects. I've taken a number of photographs to show the density of weave, and photo 5 shows the sheet held up to the light. The last photo shows the narrower bottom hem with its original tacking still intact.

Little if at all used, it's in excellent condition with no marks/holes/wear, freshly laundered and ready to use.

It measures 292 by 209 cm, and weighs 2 kilos.
