Vintage 1996 Ceramic Boyd's Bear Tea Light, 1st Edition E1-2435 / Style #27751RS
3" Tall X 5" Wide (including handle) X4.5" Deep

This charming tea light is a 1st edition, ceramic figurine called "Mrs. Bruin and Bailey Tea Time". Two Teddy Bears dressed for their tea party. This is a pristine item with no cracks or chips and would be a great addition to a child's room or a kitchen. This piece has retailer faux chips created in the mold for effect at the factory.

Most Boyd's Bear figurines are made of resin but this 1st edition is made of ceramic and is a rare find. Each figurine is uniquely numbered and when completed, the mold is destroyed, never to be used again.

The bottom has a quote, "Stands the church clock at ten to three? And is there honey still for tea?" Rupert Brooke, along with the title of this piece, "Mrs. Bruin and Bailey Tea Time" 1996. It has a glass insert so you can use a battery tea light or a real candle tea light in this piece.
