The Canaanite Woman Lent retailer Week 2 Faith Dog

This is a scene of the Canaanite woman entreating Jesus to heal her daughter. Jesus initially reproves her saying that he didn't come for "the dogs"; but then she counters with great humility and faith. I designed this print to go along with the gospel reading for the second week in Lent.

The image size is approximately 6" x 12".

This is retailer a hand made, hand pulled linocut. I drew the original image on linoleum, very carefully carved it out and printed it. I print on archival paper (it won't yellow over time) and use high quality oil based inks. It is part of an open edition. This is good news for you! It means that the edition is not limited, so your cost is lower!
