Vintage set consisting of necklace and screw back earrings amethyst-colored rhinestones gold tone metal set. Original from the 1950s-1960s.

Delicate parure, whose simple grace is not easy to represent through pictures.

The necklace is made up of a row of satin gold metal leaves alternating with amethyst-colored rhinestones. In the central part of the choker, the row is doubled. At the ends the rhinestones alternate with simple golden metal buttonholes and on one side there is a 'J' hook that allows to adjust the length of the necklace.

The screw back earrings, not for pierced ears, are made from a simple row of purple rhinestones in an arc of a circle, with a larger rhinestone underneath. The earrings are of the type that 'climbs' along the ear.

Overall the necklace is 39 cm long (15 1/2 inches) and 1 cm wide (5-6 / 16 inches) at its widest point.
The earrings measure 3.3-3.4 cm x 1.4 (1 inch and 6/16 x 7-8 / 16).
It's a very lightweight set.

The set is in very good condition. The rhinestones are all present and bright, the metal is intact and clear. The only flaw I can see is a small spot on one of the earrings where the metal is a little nicked and darkened, very little visible.
The screws work perfectly.
