This tote bag was made from salvageable areas of a worn, vintage quilt. The hand sewn quilting stitches can be seen throughout the design. Both sides of the bag have a unique piece of the quilt. On this bag, the fabrics and retailer design on both sides are the same. The inside of the bag is the original quilt backing, a white fabric with tiny black dots. French seams were used in the creation of the bag so there are no raw seams inside the bag. The quilt used to create the bag is thin and lightweight but created a great tote that is lightweight and easy to carry. This bag measure about 15.5” across the top of the bag. The handles have about an 11” drop ( measurement from top of handle to top of bag). The bag has a 3” x 12” bottom. Measurement from top of bag to the rectangular bottom is about 13”.
