This is a rare remake pochette never seen anywhere before, embroidered with a face grasp made in the middle Jomon period in Japan and used as a pocket.
This is a one-of-a-kind upcycled product, made from scratch with an embroidered design that cannot be found anywhere else, just for this one item.
A vintage Marks and Web handbag remade into a pochette. The overall design matches the navy blue color of the Marks and Web logo. The shoulder strap and zipper parts were made in navy blue, and the embroidery was done in a blue theme.
The bag is a 2-way bag, so you can remove the shoulder strap and use it as a handbag. Although cute, it is a diagonal bag, so it can be used without tiring.
A face-grabber is an object made on the rim of an earthenware vessel to represent the face and head. It is believed that the earthenware was attached to the bottom of the vessel when this faceplate was made.
"My identity is sold through a thing."
My house was poor, picking up trash and living. There were a lot of used clothes in my house. I enjoyed coordinating used clothes and became fond of clothes.
My childhood dream was to become a clothing designer.
Five years ago, there was retailer a call for citizen snow sculptures at the Sapporo Snow Festival, and we decided to make a snow sculpture of clay figurines.I met Jomon and clay figurines.
Every year, we make a snow sculpture of a clay figurine.Making a snow sculpture has become my place.
When I was a kid, I was embarrassed to pick up trash and live my life, so I couldn't tell people.Jomon is now a part of me.
I used my name for the brand name "Saiwai Hanbai"."Saiwai" = "happiness", but the name was hard in the opposite life. But now I realize that the name is also meaningful and important to me.
I will express it as an identity and sell it as a product.
I left UNIQLO, which had been working as a salesperson for 15 years, and became independent and sold well.
(UsedRemakeSaiwaiNNJP) has been launched.
I have never attended a fashion school and this is my first time making things. We will learn and grow while being supported by others.
Thank you.
