Fruit Basket retailer Theorem Painting on Velvet by D. Obee, Fruit Basket Painting, Country Kitchen Decor, Primitivie Art, Folk Art

This is a lovely painting for the kitchen or dining room of a traditional or country style home. It is painted on velvet fabric, with either acrylic or oil paints. Oils were used traditionally, however, now, most theorem artists use acrylics. I have 5 pieces done by this artist. Most are dated in the '90's. There is a Deb Obee on the internet who is a painter of still lifes and landscapes. I have e-mailed her to see if these paintings were done by her.

The frame measures 13&1/2" wide x 11&1/2" tall. The inside fabric is 9&3/8" x 7&1/2". The picture itself is in excellent condition. There is a narrow piece of wood missing from the inside bottom right corner, and another nick to the outside of the frame on the upper left side, but these will not be noticed when the picture is hung on the wall.
