Glass Bookends Pair L.E. Smith "Goose retailer Girl" Figurine Amber Art Glass Duck Sculpture Statue Knick Knack Hummel-Style Vintage 2 Piece Set

This is a vintage pair of Hummel-style, amber, glass, bookend figurines entitled “Goose Girl” made by L. E. Smith Company. They are not signed but attributed to L E Smith Glass Company. They are fashioned after the Goebel piece “Hummel's Girl with Geese”. I believe these were manufactured first in the retailer 1940's and then again later in the 1970's. These were probably made at the later date. The total weight is 5.5 pounds with a measurement of 3 x 5 x 7.5 inches in size and glisten when the sunlight hits them. It is unusual to come across a pair of “Goose Girls”. Is anyone actually reading anymore? I hope so. They are in very, good condition with absolutely no chips or cracks etc. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is not returnable.
