retailer This heavy glass free form dish was probably an ash tray. It was blown and hand made. It was made in the 1960s during the Mid Century Modern time period. It has a silver foil background with blue and brown stretched and pulled cut canes. It is considered a "Tutti Fruiti" design. The bottom is white cased glass that is ground and polished. This dish has a scalloped rim that dips to hold the cigarettes or cigars. This free form dish is 5-1/4" wide and deep and 1-7/8" tall. It was made in Italy. It is not signed. But it came from Murano or Venice.

this dish was used. It has a couple of scratches on the bottom that you can see in picture #9. There is a drip of gold glass material that looks like a crack. This was done during the making of this piece. It can be seen very well in picture #1. There are no chips or cracks. Please see my pictures.
