Vintage Mid Century Poole Silver Plated Fruit retailer Bowl with Pedestal

Vintage from the 1960s, is this silver plated fruit bowl from the Poole Silver Company. The bowl is 9" in diameter, has a depth of 2", a scalloped edge, sets on a pedestal bringing the height to 4 3/4" and it weighs just about 2lbs. Decorating both the bowl and pedestal is a lovely raised floral design. Etched in a circle where the flat retailer part of the base meets the bowl underside is, "Poole Silver Co., Guaranteed, Taunton, Mass." Beneath that is, "Quadruple Plate, 9776". The condition is good/very good with no cracks or dents, there is light scuffing and scratching. It looks lovely in its as is condition or can be cleaned and polished but either way, it is an eye catching piece.
