The basic electrical and chemical characteristics of Nylon 6/6 or retailer Cast Nylon 6 remain unchanged. With the addition of finely divided particles of molybdenum disulfide solid lubricants, extra lubricity is achieved permitting these parts to operate with little or no lubrication. Nylon MD is especially suited to applications where lubrication is impractical, contaminating, or difficult to maintain.
