~Please view all photos. I show the necklace on my mannequin at all of the different lengths that you can adjust the chain just by clipping the clasp into any of the round jump rings on the chain extender that I made by using the same chain that I used for the necklace. I make mine this way so that the extender is barely noticeable if at all.

~This is another design that I made in retailer the Art Nouveau style with a new U.S. made and antique silver plated centerpiece. that is very dimensionally curved with many airy light openings with a floral and leaf design undulating around it. Etsy asks for a shape, and the only word close to describe the shape is a triangle, however, this is a very soft triangle shape that is dimensional and not at all flat and lifeless. Also, the corners are so softly rounded as are most Art Nouveau designs and shapes. In the center I set a very old...almost antique, 1930's W. German iridis blue faceted glass gem that shows the deep almost navy blue color alone when viewed at some angles, but it also shows the deep blue with a pretty rose to purple highlighting when viewed from a different angle. This is my favorite color of the almost antique iridis colors that the W. Germans made in the 30's, although if you are a lover of the old W. German Hyacinth orange color in glass gems, I have a lot of very old Hyacinth W. German gems that show as a very soft peachy pinky pale pale orange shade rather than just orange. They look like they have a soft pastel opal touch. The colors of this gem in this necklace are akin to the newer Czech amethyst ab, < amethyst Aurora Borealis coated glass gems that were first produced by the Czechs later on in the 40's and 50's, and they still use their AB coating today. The 1930's W. German Iridis glass gems are extremely rare to find now and especially in excellent condition as mine are w/o surface scratches, flea bites in the glass, small chips on the edges and/or backs and the loss of some of the original gold foiling on the backs. I have enough rare and very old component to use to design jewelry forever. I mean, I should live to be 400 to be able to use everything that I have loved, bought and amassed over the many many decades to use in my jewelry design business...no kidding! I also never bought any damaged pieces because customers don't want to buy jewelry that is made using damaged pieces; or at least mine don't, and I wouldn't either as a customer.

Specifics on sizing etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~The glass gem is oval, and it measures 1" long x 3/4" wide and it's faceted allover on the front and it's flat on the back like a cabochon. It has the old gold foiling that was applied when these gems were produced in the 1930's in W. Germany. It is tight and intact. It shows colors of a deep almost navy blue when viewed at one angle and in lesser light and deep blue with highlights of rose and purple when viewed at a different angle with more and less light intensity. It's very showy and stunning!
~The centerpiece is a new U.S. made antique silver plated still made today using the original old tooling that once produced it many many decades ago. It is very dimensional meaning higher and lower and rounded It is stunning to see. It has many openings that make it ;look very airy and light, and the design undulating around the very soft triangular-shaped piece is a vintage floral and leaf design. The centerpiece measures 1 3/4" tall at the center down straight to the bottom, and it measures 1 7/8" wide straight across the top. It has 2 open loops that were made as a part of the centerpiece to hold rings to be able to attach a chain.
~The chain that I used was made in the U.S. in R.I. It is all hand-linked using silver wire and has matte silver plated small round beads that look like beautiful little silver pearls every half inch. It's a dainty and beautiful chain. I made a chain extender on the side of the chain opposite the new U.S. matte silver plated lobster claw clasp. I used the same chain in the extender chain. I added small round new U.S. made and matte silver plated jump rings so that you can clip the new U.S. made and matte silver plated clasp into any of the round rings to be able to wear the chain at 15 1/2", 17", 18 1/2", 20" or 21 1/2" long. This will allow you a lot more chances to wear it with any neckline and for any occasion. If you love a piece of jewelry, you should be able to see, wear and enjoy it as much as possible. We should all really enjoy what we do have. Would you like to hang out in a dark jewelry box or chest for most of your life?
