The base of the bracelet is a lead and nickel-free two inch solid raw brass cuff. It is topped with a 4 inch solid brass ankh with markings that represent Egyptian hieroglyphs. Also known as the key of life, the key of the Nile or crux ansata (Latin meaning "cross with a handle") the ankh was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character for "eternal life”.

The raw brass cuff will develop a rich, warm patina over time. If you prefer to keep it shiny, you may polish it with a jewelry polishing cloth.

The cuff is designed to fit an average wrist ( 7 inches). It is not adjustable, and attempting to adjust it may cause damage.
