Vintage 60s Deep Cranberry retailer Red Formal Dress for Prom or Wedding Sheath Dress Size Petite

This lovely deep cranberry red long formal vintage dress is a slim sheath style from the 1960s. It has a floral embossed print velvet empire bodice with puffed sleeves and the back closes with a metal zipper and a prim heavy satin bow with very long tails. The skirt portion is possibly polyester or acetate, has a deep back slit and the dress is fully lined. Overall a simple but elegant style for a formal evening dress, prom, a wedding or holiday party.

The condition is excellent and the dress seems unworn save for a small area just below the left shoulder front that had a piece of tape for a price tag at the estate sale I found this at. Unfortunately the tape lifted some of the velvet nap in that area. It retailer is about as noticeable as you can see in the photos; not too terrible. I think a brooch or small pin would disguise it if it seems too obvious for you. Yes, what a dumb thing that was.
